Rwanda and Zimbabwe meet in the group stage of the T20 Nigeria Invitational Tournament for women, with both sides vying for semi-final spots amid competitive African regional cricket. Zimbabwe enter as slight favorites based on stronger recent form, having secured convincing wins over Cameroon and Sierra Leone with solid batting depths led by Kelis Ndhlovu and openers Modester Mupachikwa, while their bowling attack, featuring Dorothy Mashayamombe, has claimed key wickets on Abuja pitches favoring pace. Rwanda, buoyed by a narrow upset over Nigeria via Sarah Uwera's all-round display, rely on spinner Clarisse Uwimana and aggressive top-order but struggle against Zimbabwe's head-to-head edge (2-0 in last encounters). No major injuries reported; toss could prove pivotal on batsman-friendly tracks with short boundaries, and dew might aid chasing sides in evening conditions. Trader consensus reflects Zimbabwe's experience despite Rwanda's momentum.
