The mismatch in team infrastructure and map pool familiarity reinforces market positioning, as Chiefs have historically performed well in Oceania league play against developing sides. Even in a best-of-one format, upsets remain possible through strong individual performances, strategic map selections favoring the underdog, or last-minute roster adjustments, though current form and head-to-head trends make such scenarios unlikely.
