North American teams are vying for Esports World Cup 2026 slots through the ongoing Road to EWC qualifiers across titles like League of Legends, where the LCS Spring Split launched last weekend with Week 1 results highlighting LYON's top power ranking form, Cloud9's strong 2-1 win over LYON, and Team Liquid's solid start. The dedicated EWC NA Online Qualifier for LoL—featuring all eight LCS squads in double-elimination format—kicks off April 14, seeding based on recent Lock-In and split performances to crown the region's representative for the July Riyadh main event. Traders eye roster deadlines by April 30, patch impacts on meta, and head-to-head trends amid expanded club partner programs boosting NA depth.
