Eunhye Lee enters the ITF W35 Taipei hard-court match as the clear favorite against veteran Erika Sema, reflecting trader consensus on her superior ranking (around No. 364 versus Sema’s No. 558) and stronger recent results on the Asian swing. The 26-year-old Korean has secured multiple wins at W35 and W50 levels this season, while the 37-year-old Japanese player has struggled with early exits in higher-tier events and shows inconsistency on outdoor hard courts. Surface familiarity and age-related durability favor Lee in a best-of-three format, though Sema’s experience could produce competitive sets if she maintains first-strike tennis. No prior head-to-head meetings add uncertainty, but current form and ranking differentials underpin the market’s lean toward the younger contender.
