SoCal Hard Eights enter the MLP St. Louis matchup as clear favorites, reflecting their established roster depth and consistent recent results against comparable competition. Phoenix Flames, operating with a newly assembled lineup after roster trades that added players like Jonathan Truong and Alix Truong, have shown limited cohesion in early 2026 group play and carry a weaker win-loss mark. The Hard Eights benefit from stronger mixed doubles pairings and proven performance in prior MLP events, creating a significant talent and experience edge that traders have priced into the current implied probability. No major injuries or last-minute roster changes have altered the pre-match outlook, though Phoenix’s ongoing adjustment period continues to weigh on expectations.
