Emilio Nava's last-minute withdrawal due to an undisclosed injury cancelled his Round of 32 matchup against Mariano Navone at the ATP 250 Tiriac Open on clay in Bucharest, resolving Polymarket's trader consensus per standard rules for unplayed contests. Navone, a seventh seed and Argentine clay specialist ranked around No. 44, entered with scorching form—winning 10 of 11 prior matches including a straight-sets H2H victory over Nava in Buenos Aires earlier in 2026—and advanced to capture his maiden ATP title against qualifier Daniel Merida in the final. Nava, ranked No. 112 with a subpar 4-8 record this season, struggled on the surface, underscoring Navone's stylistic edge in baseline rallies and endurance that fueled pre-withdrawal favoritism.
