**Recent Berlin state election polls show the CDU maintaining a steady lead over the Greens in projected vote share ahead of the September 20 vote.** With the CDU at roughly 19–20% and the Greens at 16–17% in August surveys from INSA, Infratest dimap, and Civey, the gap has held despite a tight four-way contest at the top involving the Left and AfD. The July replacement of incumbent Mayor Kai Wegner with Stefan Evers as CDU lead candidate lifted the party’s numbers by several points and stabilized its position. The Greens have shown little movement, remaining behind both the CDU and other contenders in most recent fieldwork. Traders appear to view the consistent polling margin and limited time until election day as making a Greens overtake unlikely, producing the current 79% implied probability for the CDU finishing ahead on vote share.
