Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and models indicate Miami will reach a daily maximum in the low 90s Fahrenheit on August 28 under partly sunny skies with southeast winds of 5–10 mph and a 20–50% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms. High humidity will produce heat indices near 106°F, but scattered convection and cloud cover typically cap peak readings below mid-90s levels during this period of the Atlantic hurricane season. This setup aligns with climatological norms for late August, where daily highs average near 88–90°F, explaining strong trader positioning on the 90–93°F bins as the most probable outcomes based on current guidance.
