Trader sentiment reflects this stability, with low implied probabilities for renewed Indian strikes by year-end, supported by India's recent large-scale arrests of over 200 Pakistan-linked operatives to thwart attacks and Pakistan's anniversary warnings of strong responses without escalation. Persistent factors include cross-border terrorism concerns, high-alert status along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, and limited official dialogue, though informal Track 2 contacts have occurred. Scheduled developments such as potential militant infiltration attempts or policy shifts on issues like the Indus Waters Treaty could influence near-term risks, but no major catalysts have emerged recently.
