Virtus.pro enters the best-of-three matchup with a recent 2-0 victory over Sangal in the same Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier group, leveraging their established roster experience and deeper map pool familiarity against lower-ranked opposition. JiJieHao arrives after a straight-sets win over Zeste but carries mixed 2026 results, including losses to GenOne and Black Phoenix in European series alongside occasional upsets. The Russian organization's historical success in Counter-Strike majors and consistent qualification pushes creates a significant experience gap, though JiJieHao's Chinese core can exploit stylistic mismatches on certain maps if they secure early momentum in the group stage decider.
