Leo Borg enters this ITF M15 Båstad semifinal on clay as the higher-ranked player with an ATP ranking near 592, compared to John Hallquist Lithén’s career-high mark of 742. Borg, the son of tennis legend Björn Borg, brings more recent ITF experience and a stronger professional record, including wins on hard courts earlier in 2026. Lithén, a 24-year-old left-hander with a college background at Ole Miss, has climbed rankings through consistent lower-level results but faces a stylistic and experience gap on the slow surface. Both Swedes have met previously in domestic and ITF events, with Borg holding the edge in head-to-head encounters. The match resolves on completion of play, with surface conditions and serve consistency likely key factors in the outcome.
