Ha Eum Lee holds a clear ranking advantage at approximately WTA No. 750 with an 18-12 record this season, while 19-year-old Anastasiya Krymkova competes from a much lower singles profile and a doubles ranking near 1584. Both players have recent experience on the Astana hard-court circuit, with Lee posting wins and losses in prior W15 events there and Krymkova advancing through qualifiers in the same series before exiting early in main-draw matches. The first-round encounter offers Krymkova home-country familiarity in Kazakhstan, though Lee’s higher level of consistent results and professional standing shape trader consensus around her as the stronger favorite. Surface conditions, recent match load, and any last-minute fitness updates remain the primary variables that could influence the outcome.
