Matthew Dellavedova enters the ITF M25 Taipei hard-court encounter as the clear favorite due to his superior ATP ranking near 311 compared to Shunsuke Mitsui’s position around 648, along with stronger recent results on the surface. Dellavedova has posted multiple wins in preceding ITF events in Taiwan and Tianjin, including straight-sets victories that highlight consistent serving and return play. Mitsui has shown competitive form locally with recent wins but faces a significant step up in opponent quality. Their limited prior head-to-head favors Dellavedova, and the outdoor hard conditions align with both players’ recent schedules without notable injury concerns or late withdrawals affecting the draw. Trader consensus reflects these established edges in ranking, form, and experience at this level.
