Giorgia Pedone enters the ITF W35 Chacabuco clay-court match as the clear favorite against Sofia Meabe, reflecting her higher WTA ranking near 338, five prior ITF singles titles, and stronger recent results on the surface. Pedone has posted multiple wins in Argentine and Brazilian ITF events this summer, including straight-set victories in W35 Pergamino, while competing regularly at this level. Meabe, ranked outside the top 1400 with a junior-heavy background and limited senior experience, advanced with a win over Romina Ccuno in the same tournament but faces a steep step up in competition. The clay surface and head-to-head context further align with Pedone’s established game, though late form fluctuations or any unexpected withdrawals remain the main variables that could influence outcomes.
