Rina Saigo and Daria Khomutsianskaya meet for the first time in the ITF W75 Ourense draw, with both players entering on strong recent form after advancing through opening rounds on the Spanish hard courts. Saigo, ranked 327, has posted solid results in lower-tier events this season and defeated Celia Cerviño Ruiz in straight sets locally, while Khomutsianskaya sits slightly higher at 310 and overcame Oceane Dodin in three sets to reach this stage. Their comparable WTA rankings and lack of head-to-head history leave the matchup evenly poised, with outcomes likely influenced by serving consistency, return play on the faster surface, and any fatigue from the short turnaround between matches. No major injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either player.
