**Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” leads trader sentiment for the #2 US Spotify song of 2026 at 78.5% implied probability due to its sustained 2026 resurgence.** The track, originally released in 2024, went viral on TikTok, driving a major streaming surge that included a first-time #1 on the US daily Spotify chart in late June with over 1.75 million US streams in a single day. Despite Spotify removing roughly 500,000 suspected artificial streams tied to prediction-market activity around that peak, the song maintained strong momentum, recently ranking as high as #2–3 on US Spotify charts with hundreds of millions of total streams. Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” sits at 13% as a credible challenger with consistent high-volume performance and over a billion lifetime streams, while legacy tracks and newer releases trail far behind. With roughly three months left in the year, traders view “Earrings” ongoing chart dominance and cultural staying power as the decisive factors heading into year-end tallies.
