**Alexander Zverev leads the 2026 US Open winner market at 58.1% implied probability ahead of his Sunday final against Ben Shelton (42.4%), with Casper Ruud at negligible odds.** Zverev, the top seed and French Open champion, enters with elite recent form, including a Wimbledon final appearance and a dominant 24-2 Grand Slam record this season. He also holds a perfect 5-0 head-to-head edge over Shelton, including the last ten sets. Shelton, the No. 8 seed, has generated significant momentum by upsetting defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals and defeating Frances Tiafoe in an all-American semifinal, positioning the 23-year-old as a historic underdog seeking the first American men’s major title since 2003. The closely contested pricing reflects Zverev’s experience and matchup advantages against Shelton’s surging form and home support on hard courts.
