Elena Rybakina's straight-sets victory over two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in the 2026 US Open final on hard courts has driven trader consensus to near-certainty on her claim to the title. The Kazakh player delivered 12 aces and superior composure under pressure, converting key break points while limiting unforced errors to secure her third Grand Slam crown and ascent to world No. 1. Her prior Australian Open triumph over the same opponent and 14-match hard-court major winning streak reinforced this positioning. Late injuries, unexpected withdrawals, or weather disruptions at Flushing Meadows remain the only realistic variables that could have shifted outcomes in an otherwise locked-in resolution.
