Multiple established Serie A clubs enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable depth and squad reinforcements that keep the runner-up race wide open behind defending champions Inter Milan. Preseason activity, including AC Milan’s appointment of Ruben Amorim and high-profile additions such as Gonçalo Ramos, has strengthened several mid-tier contenders alongside established sides like Napoli, Juventus, Roma, Atalanta, and Bologna. The absence of a clear second favorite reflects balanced recent league performances, similar transfer-window impact, and historical volatility in title challenges, leaving traders to price a broad group of teams within a narrow implied-probability band.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
