If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Slovak Niké Liga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Slovak Niké Liga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Slovak Niké Liga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026–27 Niké Liga remains highly open for runner-up honors early in the campaign, with Slovan Bratislava widely viewed as the title favorite while a broad group of clubs compete for second. Spartak Trnava, DAC Dunajská Streda, MŠK Žilina, and FC Košice have all posted strong early results in the regular stage, yet none has separated itself after the opening matchweeks. The split into championship and relegation groups after 22 fixtures, combined with head-to-head variability and typical mid-table volatility, sustains parity among the contenders. Recent coaching adjustments at clubs like Skalica underscore roster flux that can quickly shift momentum across the tightly bunched field.
