Key participants include Daniil Dubov, Vladislav Artemiev, Levon Aronian, Andrey Esipenko, and others who missed direct qualification via CCT points or prior events. The format emphasizes rapid Swiss or group-stage results, where recent form, head-to-head records against fellow contenders, and handling of the short schedule heavily influence advancement. Trader consensus on specific players to qualify reflects this concentrated pool of talent and the high variance typical of a last-chance knockout-style path.
