Yanki Erel, the higher-ranked Turkish player seeded in this M25 Kutaisi event on hard courts, faces Italian qualifier Leonardo Rossi in the opening round. Erel holds a clear edge in recent form and overall experience at this ITF level, though Rossi carries a 1-0 head-to-head advantage after defeating him in three sets during a June 2025 M15 Monastir match on the same surface. Both competitors have logged strong recent results in lower-tier events, but Erel’s superior ranking and consistent serve-volley game on hard courts give him the edge in a matchup where first-set momentum and break-point conversion could prove decisive.
