This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Golden Boot. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Denis Bouanga leads the 2026 MLS Golden Boot market at 35.4% implied probability**, followed by Lionel Messi (27.0%), Petar Musa (24.1%), Sam Surridge (22.9%), and Brian White (21.3%). Bouanga’s position reflects his proven track record as a consistent high-volume scorer, including the 2023 title and multiple 20-plus goal seasons, plus LAFC’s established attacking patterns that generate quality chances. Messi’s share stems from his defending-champion status, elite conversion rate, and Inter Miami’s high-possession style, despite fewer appearances to date. Musa and other mid-tier contenders like Cuypers (currently pacing the league in goals) and Surridge benefit from efficient recent form and favorable remaining schedules. Traders weigh historical output, minutes played, team offensive strength, and injury resilience more heavily than mid-season tallies alone, with the race expected to tighten as the summer stretch unfolds.
