**Multiple mid-tier Hungarian NB I sides enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable squad depth, recent form, and historical pedigree, leaving trader consensus evenly split on third place.** Defending champions Győri ETO FC, Puskás Akadémia (early leaders with strong results), Újpest, MTK Budapest, Vasas, and Paksi SE have all posted competitive early results amid a congested fixture list, while Ferencvárosi TC balances domestic matches with Europa League commitments that have temporarily limited their league games played. Preseason models highlighted Győri, Puskás, and Paksi as the leading European qualifiers behind the usual frontrunner, yet no single club has separated itself after the opening rounds. This parity in resources, home/away splits, and momentum has kept implied probabilities tightly clustered around 48-50% across the field.
