Recent reports confirming a rematch between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan for the UFC 331 main event in September have anchored overwhelming trader consensus on Tsarukyan. Oliveira's March victory over Max Holloway elevated his standing as the BMF titleholder, positioning the lightweight contender matchup as the logical next step following their competitive split-decision encounter at UFC 300. Tsarukyan's current #2 ranking, grappling prowess, and history against Oliveira reinforce this alignment in the division's title picture. Other lightweight contenders remain distant possibilities primarily because official UFC matchmaking signals point squarely to the rematch. A late injury withdrawal, sudden shift in lightweight title implications involving Ilia Topuria, or last-minute booking changes could still redirect Oliveira's path.
