Trader consensus heavily favors Atlético Madrid at 67.5% implied probability to win the Copa del Rey, driven by their gritty 4-3 aggregate semifinal triumph over Barcelona—capped by a dominant 4-0 first-leg home win—and a recent 3-2 La Liga victory over Real Sociedad in early March, where Nico González's brace highlighted their attacking edge under Diego Simeone. Real Sociedad, at 30.5%, earned their spot via a disciplined 2-0 aggregate Basque derby win against Athletic Club, boosted by Mikel Oyarzabal's late penalty, and arrives fresher with a full week's rest prioritizing the April 18 neutral-site final in Seville. However, both sides grapple with injuries—Atlético missing Jan Oblak, José Giménez, and Pablo Barrios amid UCL demands, while Sociedad lacks Igor Zubeldia and Álvaro Odriozola—tempering the favorite's dominance in this closely watched clash.
