Papua New Guinea arrives with strong momentum in the Super Six stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier, following convincing victories including a 147-run win over Vanuatu and a 38-run margin against Indonesia that highlighted their batting firepower and disciplined bowling. Japan benefits from home conditions at Sano International Cricket Ground and has posted solid results against other regional sides, yet faces a more experienced PNG lineup featuring established T20 performers such as Assad Vala and Tony Ura. Sunny weather with moderate humidity is forecast, which should produce a true pitch favoring strokeplay. No significant injury concerns or squad changes have been reported for either side ahead of the match.

This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/.
DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins.
If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution.
