Hanna Chang enters this ITF W35 Changwon second-round matchup holding a clear edge in experience and ranking, currently placed around WTA No. 320 after reaching a career high of No. 169. The 28-year-old American has compiled a strong 19-8 record this season with multiple ITF titles, while 17-year-old South Korean Ha Eum Lee sits near WTA No. 950 and is still building consistency on the professional circuit. Both players have advanced comfortably on the outdoor hard courts in recent rounds, though Chang’s deeper match-play history and stronger overall results give her the edge in a first-time meeting. Factors such as serving efficiency, return performance on the fast surface, and any late fitness updates could influence the outcome in this lower-tier event.
