Hikaru Shiraishi enters as the clear favorite against 16-year-old Sena Okabe in this ITF M15 Tokyo 2 first-round match on hard courts, reflecting the 26-year-old's higher ranking near 471 and greater senior-level experience. Shiraishi arrives with solid recent form, including multiple wins in Tokyo ITF events this month that highlight strong serving and consistency on the surface. Okabe, still early in his professional career, has shown flashes in juniors but limited results at this level, with recent qualifying losses underscoring the experience gap. Home-country familiarity and a favorable draw position further support Shiraishi's edge in what projects as a straightforward test of depth against youth.
