Paul Skenes leads trader consensus at 40.5% implied probability for the 2026 NL Cy Young after his dominant 2024 rookie campaign—1.96 ERA, 170 strikeouts in 133 innings—that established him as Pittsburgh's ace with ace-level stuff and command projecting forward. Close behind, Brandon Woodruff's 23.6% reflects optimism for his post-spine surgery return to Milwaukee's rotation after two lost seasons, pairing veteran pedigree with health upside. Hunter Greene (23.4%) and Mitch Keller (23.2%) ride 2024 breakouts in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, respectively, with elite velocity and consistency fueling multi-year contention bets. Prospect Jacob Misiorowski (21.1%) draws Brewers hype as a high-upside flamethrower nearing MLB readiness, while injury recoveries for Yamamoto and Ohtani temper their shares amid NL arms race dynamics.
