This market will resolve to the manager who wins the 2026 American League Manager of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the manager whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. Will Venable leads the AL Manager of the Year market as the clear trader favorite due to the Chicago White Sox’s rapid turnaround from a 102-loss 2025 season to first place in the AL Central during his second year at the helm. The team’s improved record and division lead despite a young roster and modest expectations have created the strongest narrative in the race. Kevin Cash sits second on the strength of the Tampa Bay Rays’ AL-best record and consistent contention, though voter preference for dramatic improvement over sustained success limits his implied probability. Lower-priced candidates such as Stephen Vogt, Derek Shelton, and Skip Schumaker trail because their teams have not matched the White Sox’s year-over-year gains or the Rays’ overall dominance entering the final weeks.
