St. Louis Shock and New Jersey 5s sit atop the 2026 MLP standings with nearly identical point totals after nine regular-season events and the mid-season tournament, where the Shock swept the 5s 3-0 in the final to claim first place and additional points. Both squads feature deep rosters and consistent weekend results that have kept them ahead of the field, while recent quarterfinal wins secured their top seeds for the expanded playoffs. Brooklyn Pickleball Team and Dallas Flash earned the final semifinal berths through strong late surges but trail significantly in overall points. The narrow gap in implied probabilities reflects the head-to-head parity, similar event finishes, and the best-of-three semifinal and final format that leaves room for momentum swings or key player performances to decide the champion in Central Park.
