Q2 results showed record $28.24 billion revenue, up 26% year-over-year, yet non-GAAP EPS of $0.33 missed estimates while operating margins compressed to 1.4% on lower automotive pricing and higher R&D. Recent developments include a 20,000-vehicle headlight recall, ongoing SpaceX-Tesla merger speculation, and Musk commentary on Starlink integration in Cybercabs. With the stock down roughly 26% year-to-date and 52-week range spanning $297–$499, next-day closes near current levels hinge on broader tech sentiment, options positioning, and any incremental AI or regulatory updates rather than scheduled catalysts.
