Their lone head-to-head at the 2024 Busan Worlds saw Takahashi prevail 3-2 in a team tiebreaker, underscoring upset potential from Ni's big-match poise. With the London 2026 team championships underway, both squads opened with wins, but fatigue from group stage play or late injury reports could sway odds; Takahashi's recent team victories bolster her edge, while Ni's longevity fuels Luxembourg backers.
