100 Thieves enters this Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier Group 11 BO3 opener against SadFamous as the clear favorite, backed by a professional roster featuring experienced players and recent competitive exposure in events like BLAST Bounty and StarLadder qualifiers. SadFamous remains an unranked side with limited documented results or roster pedigree in major circuits. The Australian organization's mixed form in July—wins over Falcons alongside losses to Spirit and Ninjas in Pyjamas—still places them well above the European qualifier opponent in overall depth and map pool strength. This opening match carries group-stage implications for advancement in the Last Chance Qualifier path, where roster stability and LAN execution typically separate established teams from emerging challengers.
