West Coast Eagles host Hawthorn Hawks at Optus Stadium in Perth for the Round 24 AFL clash, where the home side’s venue advantage creates near-even implied probabilities despite stark differences in 2026 form. Hawthorn sits fourth on the ladder after 14 wins from 22 games with strong percentage, while West Coast languishes near the bottom with just four victories and a string of heavy recent defeats. Multiple Eagles injuries, including to key players with calf, hamstring and knee issues, have hampered depth, yet the long interstate trip for the Hawks and potential late changes in either lineup keep the contest balanced. Final team selections, ruck and midfield matchups, and any short-term fitness updates could shift trader sentiment ahead of the bounce.
