In this first-round ITF M15 Litija matchup on clay, higher-ranked Ziga Sesko enters with a modest edge over fellow Slovenian Jan Kupcic. Sesko posts a stronger 50% win rate over the past year versus Kupcic’s 44%, while showing superior return effectiveness by claiming more opponent second-serve points. The pair meets for the first time, with both competing mainly at the $15K level and posting similar serve numbers in recent form. Kupcic’s recent 1-4 stretch contrasts Sesko’s steadier results, though home-tournament comfort and early-round fatigue could narrow the gap. Breakpoint conversion and consistency under pressure remain the key variables for this local derby.
