Amelia Paszun and Laia Petretic meet in the first round of the ITF W15 Monastir on outdoor hard courts, with the higher-ranked Petretic entering as the more experienced player on the surface. The French 22-year-old holds the superior current ranking near 771 and has faced slightly tougher opposition in recent months, though her 2026 win rate sits around 51 percent. Paszun, the 18-year-old Pole ranked near 958, shows a stronger recent win percentage above 60 percent across ITF events and arrives after competing in the prior Monastir swing, including a second-round loss. No prior head-to-head exists, so recent form, hard-court adaptation, and serve-return efficiency trends will shape the outcome in this early-round encounter.
