The matchup pits higher-ranked Australian Matthew Dellavedova against Japanese Keisuke Saitoh in the first round of ITF M15 Gimcheon on outdoor hard courts. Dellavedova, currently ranked 447 with a career high of 334, brings greater experience from Challenger-level events, while Saitoh sits at 825 but enters with strong recent momentum after advancing through qualifying rounds and securing a straight-sets victory over Hoyoung Roh. Both players are 25 years old, with Dellavedova right-handed and Saitoh left-handed. No head-to-head history exists between them. The hard surface rewards consistent baseline rallies and serve reliability, where Dellavedova’s higher-level exposure may offset Saitoh’s current regional form and local adjustment advantages.
