KT Rolster enters the LCK Play-In as the fifth-place Legend Group finisher with a 15-11 regular-season record, though recent form has been shaky with a 2-6 mark in Rounds 3-4 and a 1-2 series loss to T1 that locked them into this spot. Hanjin BRION, the Rise Group leader after clinching qualification with a 2-1 win over Kiwoom DRX, sits at roughly 10-16 and has shown sporadic improvement through strong early-game laning and objective control in recent Bo3s. The August 26 Bo5 matchup uses Fearless Draft, with KT favored due to superior roster depth and head-to-head history against lower-table sides, while BRION’s upset potential rests on recent momentum and exploiting any KT macro inconsistencies. Both teams face elimination pressure in the double-elimination bracket for the final playoff berths.
