The Tampa Bay Rays, holding a 36-23 record and atop the AL East after a strong recent stretch that included multiple series wins, visit the Miami Marlins for a three-game interleague set at loanDepot park beginning June 5. The Marlins sit at 29-34 and fourth in the NL East amid ongoing inconsistency in offense and pitching depth. Key roster notes include Rays shortstop Taylor Walls dealing with left hamstring tightness and reliever Craig Kimbrel on the 15-day IL with a right wrist strain, while Miami continues to manage multiple pitchers on the injured list. The matchup features the Rays' balanced attack led by hitters such as Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz against a Marlins squad seeking improved home results in a competitive division race.
