RRQ Tora enters the MPL Malaysia regular season matchup with a stronger recent form and higher standings position than AC Esports, having posted early wins and positive game differentials in Season 18 action. AC Esports has shown inconsistency, including a 2-0 series victory over RRQ Tora late in Season 17 that highlighted potential for upsets when their draft and mid-lane execution align. Both squads feature roster adjustments heading into the BO3, with RRQ Tora benefiting from organizational depth in the EXP and jungle roles while facing schedule pressure from back-to-back weeks. Head-to-head trends favor the team with better recent momentum, though MPL Malaysia matches often hinge on patch adaptations and individual carry performances in best-of-three formats.
