If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Carolina Hurricanes lead the 2027 NHL champion market after breaking through to win the 2026 Stanley Cup, positioning them as repeat favorites amid roster continuity and proven playoff depth. Colorado Avalanche sit close behind following a strong regular-season showing that earned the Presidents' Trophy, while 2026 finalists Vegas Golden Knights and contenders like the Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Florida Panthers remain tightly grouped due to established cores, goaltending stability, and recent postseason experience. The wide distribution across more than 30 teams reflects a deep league where offseason moves, draft additions, and injury recoveries can quickly shift implied probabilities in this long-term futures market.
