This market will resolve according to the club that wins the 2026 Japan Series (the Nippon Professional Baseball championship series). If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed club to win the 2026 Japan Series (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 NPB postseason is cancelled, postponed after November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no Japan Series champion declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from NPB (https://npb.jp); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NPB pennant races remain tightly contested with roughly 25-30 games left, as SoftBank Hawks hold a commanding Pacific League lead while Hanshin Tigers and Yomiuri Giants battle for the Central League top spot. SoftBank’s superior run differential and depth give them the strongest path to the Japan Series, yet the playoff format—featuring Climax Series matchups—introduces variance that keeps implied probabilities clustered across contenders. Recent results, including Hanshin’s series win over the Giants and strong interleague performances by Seibu and Nippon-Ham, reinforce broad trader consensus that no team has pulled away decisively. Multiple clubs retain realistic routes through favorable remaining schedules, momentum shifts, or postseason upsets, sustaining the even distribution of market pricing.
