Early in the 2026-27 Premier League season, trader sentiment for the last-place finisher centers on the three promoted sides—Hull City, Coventry City, and Ipswich Town—alongside Sunderland, whose implied probabilities sit highest due to typical adaptation challenges for new arrivals, limited squad depth, and tough early fixtures. Established clubs such as Crystal Palace, Fulham, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest follow closely, reflecting their winless starts, negative goal differences, and questions over squad rotation. The bunched pricing among these and several mid-table sides underscores the competitive nature of the bottom half, where small margins in results, injuries, and momentum can rapidly shift outcomes across the 38-game campaign.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
