Maksym Badai holds a commanding 101-6 head-to-head edge over Andrii Lushchyk across more than 100 Setka Cup encounters, with the vast majority decided in straight sets or quick 3-0/3-1 margins. This dominance stems from superior consistency in rallies, serve returns, and error minimization that Lushchyk has rarely disrupted. Recent July 2026 fixtures in the same Ukrainian table-tennis circuit reinforce the gap: Badai posted multiple wins in quick succession, including straight-sets victories over Lushchyk and other local competitors, while Lushchyk dropped several matches in a row against mid-tier opponents. No significant injuries, ranking shifts, or format changes appear in official results, leaving Badai’s established edge as the central driver of market pricing. Any rare upset would require an uncharacteristic collapse in Badai’s baseline play or an unusually high unforced-error rate from the favorite.
