Released in October 2025, the country crossover hit reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2026 and has logged 21 weeks at the summit by early September—the longest non-holiday reign ever—while topping Streaming Songs, Hot Country Songs, and the Songs of the Summer chart. It has amassed hundreds of millions of US streams, sustained radio dominance, and strong international traction without meaningful competition. New releases or late-year surges from tracks like those by Karol G or Malcolm Todd could theoretically narrow the gap, though historical precedent and current momentum make a reversal unlikely before year-end tallies lock.
