The 2026 NBA Finals are scheduled for June 3, 2026 through June 19, 2026. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Mike Breen says "Bang Bang" during a scheduled broadcast of the 2026 NBA Finals on ABC. Otherwise, the market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on the events of 2026 NBA Finals, beginning from the start of Game 1 and ending at the conclusion of the series. Commentary before games begin or after they conclude will not be considered; only the content of the games themselves will qualify. If prerecorded clips are aired where people are speaking, those clips will NOT count toward this market's resolution. Commercials will not qualify toward this market's resolution. AI-generated audio or video will NOT count toward this market's resolution. Any qualifying mention of the phrase "Bang Bang" will count toward the resolution of this market, regardless of context. Plural and possessive forms of the listed term will count toward the resolution of this market regardless of context; however, other forms will NOT count. Instances where the term is used in a compound word or phrase will count regardless of context (e.g. the description of a “Bang-bang play” by Mike Breen will count toward a "Yes" resolution). Only the use of the word “bang” twice in succession will qualify towards a "Yes" resolution. If no such stream is aired by July 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is the official ABC broadcast of the NBA Finals. The Knicks defeated the Spurs 4-1 in the 2026 NBA Finals, which concluded with a 94-90 Knicks victory in Game 5 on June 13. Mike Breen served as the lead play-by-play announcer across all five ABC broadcasts, delivering his signature single “Bang!” calls during several clutch moments. However, the double “Bang Bang” variant—typically reserved for the most dramatic, series-altering shots—did not occur in any game, including the multiple one-possession finishes and the largest comeback in Finals history during Game 4. With the series now complete and no further scheduled broadcasts remaining, trader consensus reflects the straightforward absence of the specific call. The only theoretical shifts would require unplayed additional games or a retroactive reinterpretation of existing audio, both of which are precluded by the concluded schedule.
