Arsenal and Manchester City sit neck-and-neck in the 2026-27 Premier League runner-up market because both clubs enter the campaign as the strongest contenders behind the defending champions. Arsenal’s retention of the title last season and squad continuity underpin their slight edge in trader consensus, while City’s record signing of Elliot Anderson and overall depth offset the post-Pep Guardiola transition under Enzo Maresca. Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea trail as plausible challengers but lack the same consistent recent form or reinforcements. The bunched probabilities among the top sides reflect a wide-open battle for second place, with home/away splits, injury resilience, and early-season momentum likely to shift implied probabilities rapidly once matches begin.

If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
