**Universitatea Craiova enters the 2026-27 SuperLiga as defending champions with the highest implied probability among traders, but the market remains tightly bunched because the regular-season standings after 10 rounds show genuine parity at the top.** Dinamo București leads on 23 points with strong attacking form, followed closely by Rapid București and Craiova on 21 and 20 points respectively, while Petrolul, U Cluj, and others sit within striking distance. The split-season format, with points halved before the play-off, limits any single team's advantage and keeps multiple sides viable. Pre-season previews highlighted Craiova’s retained core and reinforcements, yet mid-table volatility, recent managerial shifts at clubs like FCSB, and ongoing transfer activity have prevented any clear separation. This competitive balance across established sides and improving challengers sustains the narrow range of probabilities.
